Transforming an industrial tank at Malik
The challenge
Malik faced a challenge with one of their large tanks that required extensive renovation. The tank’s old paint system was outdated and inefficient, necessitating a complete stripping and cleaning to prepare the surface for a new and more durable paint system.
The solution
Mamoba was called in to handle this complex job. The process began with completely stripping the tank. The old paint system was then removed using advanced UHP water jetting. This technique uses ultra-high pressure to effectively remove old paint and rust without damaging the tank base material. To reach all parts of the tank and ensure uniform cleaning, magnet crawlers were also used to navigate the tank surface and deliver precise and thorough cleaning.
Creating a New Paint System
After the tank was thoroughly cleaned, a new paint system was applied. This layer of protective paint was designed to withstand the harsh conditions the tank is exposed to and extend its service life significantly. The painting process was carried out with great care to ensure complete coverage and optimal drying.
Branding with Malik Logos
As part of the renovation and to strengthen the brand identity, Mamoba applied two Malik logos to the newly painted tank. The logos were strategically placed to maximise visibility and reflect Malik’s professional image.
The result
The final result was a completely transformed tank that was not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. The white surface made the tank look like new and the applied Malik logos added a professional touch that emphasised the company’s identity and commitment to quality.
