All waste, including toxic soil and lead water (water that has been used to water jet lead paint from tanks), for example, is completely disposed of according to current regulations.

We take responsibility for the environment and ensure that our processes and actions are optimised to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions. We also ensure that we use sustainable materials wherever possible as part of our commitment to minimising our environmental impact.

At Mamoba, we think a lot about how our daily work and our consumption of chemicals should not impact the climate.

For example, we use hot water systems as part of a completely environmentally friendly cleaning method such as for property facades, roofs, tiles or for cleaning tanks and ships. Nothing but the purest water comes out of the hot water system.

When Mamoba cleans ships and oil tanks, the wash water is deposited in liquid-tight containers and transported safely to Fortum, which specialises in handling environmentally hazardous waste.

In some cases, Mamoba even cleans and settles excess wash water containing old lead contamination residues. Once the lead paint residue has settled from the water, the lead waste is transported to an authorised environmental station.
