What is sandblasting?
Sandblasting is a method for cleaning surfaces of all kinds from dirt, grime, rust, algae and old paint. The overall purpose of sandblasting is to deep clean and prepare the surface to be made nice and clean again. Either with paint or further treatment with another material. These can be fire resistant coating materials or particularly durable materials such as epoxy and acrylic.
Sandblasting is carried out using a handheld blast gun that uses compressed air to blow air and sand out at very high speed.
