The challenge
Goldschmidt Ejendomme faced a challenge with their property in Ringsted, where the roofs had been significantly affected by smog from the nearby motorway and extraction systems. This had resulted in the roofs looking dark and almost black, taking away from the otherwise attractive appearance of the property.
The solution
To address this challenge and restore the original appearance of the roofs, Mamoba was brought in to perform a professional roof cleaning. We used environmentally friendly chemicals that were effective against the deep dirt and gentle on the roof materials. Subsequently, Ultra-High Pressure (UHP) cleaning was applied with guns that could deliver water pressures up to 500 bar and water temperatures as high as 150 degrees Celsius. This technique ensured deep cleaning without damaging the roof surface.
Further treatment
After the roofs were cleaned, they were treated with a special impregnation. This treatment was designed to extend the duration of purity and protect against future degradation caused by environmental factors. The impregnation helped ensure that the roofs would not only look new immediately after cleaning, but would also stay looking nice and clean for longer.
The results
The results of Mamoba’s work was astounding. Previously dark and dirty roofs were transformed to look fresh and almost new. This lifted the visual appeal of the entire property and restored pride for both the owners and tenants of Goldschmidt Ejendomme.
