What is surface treatment?
A surface treatment basically means applying a product to a surface that has been prepared. Surface preparation can consist of, for example, extensive cleaning by sandblasting or cleaning with water jetting/high-pressure washing.
The surface treatment itself can consist of several different types of treatment depending on what is needed for the specific construction and surface.
It also depends on the environment in which the item will be used.
Surface treatment / coating in winter
If the surface treatment is to be done in winter, frost can in most cases make work difficult or impossible unless the surface is warmed up.
Mamoba is one of the only companies in the country with the right equipment for this, as we have probably Denmark’s largest heating system for heating and dehumidification of huge oil tanks up to 60-70,000 m3. These systems can also be used for warehouses, underground car parks, houses, etc.
Our heating systems can heat tanks up to 20 degrees on the inside, making it possible to coat them even when it’s as cold as -10 degrees outside.
